4oD is free to download and hosts a wide selection of programmes from Channel 4, E4 and More4. This content is available to watch free of charge, with no limit to the amount you can watch. Streaming is accessible via WiFi networks in UK and Ireland. All downloaded content can be viewed offline and abroad but downloading is only available in UK and Ireland, over WiFi. Channel 4 has an extensive library of programmes (including both classic shows and more recent programmes that have dropped out of our 30-day catch up ‘window’). Unfortunately, it’s not possible to bring you all of this content via this app – but a selection is

currently available. We will continue to extend this range.

4oD is a free app, and our content is free to watch because we are a commercially-funded public service broadcaster. As a publicly-owned, not-for-profit organisation, the revenue we make from advertising doesn’t go to shareholders, it goes back into making more programmes.
